Zinoune says its up, now, for the beta: Medibuntu repositories available for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin | PPA
sudo -E wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update
For the packages to show up in the software center, use “APP-INSTALL-DATA-MEDIBUNTU”
He also has the code to install the crash report hooks and some links to previous posts on the topic that might be useful.
On my laptop plus external monitor configuration, some bug stops Precise in its tracks on boot. I need to see if this is a driver problem or maybe if a fresh install will fix it. I am also waiting for HP to fix whatever it is that broke the fax function on their multi-function printer. I have to use Maverick (10.10) in order to fax anything.
